Each app prior to being submitted to Apple App Store must do a App Privacy declaration. In short, it is about declaring what data is being collected by the app (or third party SDKs etc) and what it is used for.
1. Login to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/
2. In the left menu, under App Store, click App Privacy.
3. Click Edit next to Privacy Policy and add the Privacy Policy URL***. Click Save.
***This should be URL that leads to the Privacy Policy section of the Future Ordering online portal.
-
The privacy policy URL can either be found by going to the My Account page and click the Privacy Policy link in the bottom
- Or register a new account with an made-up email and you should see the New User page, at the bottom there's a link to the privacy policy.
- Click the link, and copy the first portion of the URL, up until where it says "https://.../info/privacy". Typically it looks something like this: https://order.blabla.com/se/en-gb/info/privacy
If you want to test your URL, you can paste it in a new browser window, and the Privacy Policy page should open.
4. OK, now it's time to start the App Privacy declaration. Click Get Started.
5. Data Collection - click "Yes, we collect data from this app". Click Next
6. You will now be presented with a long list of different data types. You can see them when you scroll down.
Scroll down and check the following boxes.
-
Contact Info
- Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
-
Location
- Precise Location
- Coarse Location
-

7. Now each of the above checked data types need to be declared with why they are being collected.
For each data type, click the "Set up..." link. E.g. Set up Name
8. Setting up each data type will have you go through a series of check boxes with reasons why the data type is collected and questions regarding if the data is linked to the user's identity and if it is used for tracking purposes.
Mark the check boxes and answer the questions for each data type according to the following table:
| Data Type | Reasons | Linked To Users Identity | Used for Tracking Purposes |
| Name | App Functionality | YES | NO |
| Email Address | App Functionality | YES | NO |
| Phone Number | App Functionality | YES | NO |
